Bear Hunting

Our vast exclusive territory of 309 km² including only 17 hunting areas is without a doubt a domain envied well beyond borders, its reputation says it all. Being accessible only by seaplane is the guarantee of its preservation. Successes are up to par, 90% for bear hunting and over 75% for moose hunting. Small game seems to also enjoy the territory. Encounters with ruffed grouses, hares and other woodcocks are innumerable. For our visitors convenience, many trails leading to the lakes are perfectly maintained.

Bear hunting is practiced in May and June. The sites are generously baited near the watchtowers. The bear is really present on the territory, hunters have the certainty of approaching it, only a few blunders from the bear give him a chance. Bows, crossbows or carbines are customary.
